Serre Chevalier
Skiing in Serre Chevalier in France was totally amazing. It’s true what they say about skiing in the south of France, you will catch favourable weather since it’s boasting 300 days of sunshine a year! But not just only the weather, the resort encompasses a ginormous skiing area that offers 250 km of slopes.

We stayed at a chic boutique spa hotel, Rock Noir, which is located in the heart of the Serre Chevalier, in the charming village of La Salle des Alpes. The hotel was a ski-in-ski-out hotel only 20m from the main lift. The rooms where super fresh with access to a nice spa and pool area.

Recommendations
- Lunch west side of the skiing resort – Le Flocon
- Dinner at Le Refuge – to experience a proper French alp meal

This weekend I think I ate 2kg cheese alone but I am not complaining because wow – French cheese is amazing! We had so much good wine and food for the whole weekend. If you are not the biggest ski-fan I can definitely recommend you to go just for the alp food south of France has to offer. Both Ale and I didn’t let one breadcrumb left on our cheesy plates.

I definitely recommend Serre Chevalier if you’d like to have a proper ski-vacay and not the biggest fan of skiing in too cold weather ⛷
